Seasonal Programs

Spring

In the spring we offer a road hockey tournament in the parking lot of the Memorial Centre in Peterborough, and an Easter market that gives families in need the opportunity to come and "shop" for fresh food items that will help them enjoy a nice Easter dinner.  A continental breakfast is also provided for those who attend.

Summer

Over the summer months we have programs such as Art in the Barn (Weekly from July - August), the Feast (weekly community dinners in July), Movies in the Park (Weekly in August), Day trips (Wonderland, Cobourg beach) and our Garden Partnership with Wellspring Sweet Song, and the Maitland farm which has youth who volunteer to help us produce vegetables for a local restaurant and families that we serve.

Fall

In the fall we have a free harvest feast for families and those involved in L.Y.U. We also start up our Gym night and girls POD program.

Winter

During the winter we provide gift and food Hampers for families at Christmas time, have a winter retreat for high school students and have events planned over the March break.
